Only One Thing on His Mind

But we’ve only just met…

The heavy bass beat washes over me as I sway. The booming, steady rhythm moves me.

Across the short distance, I meet his interested gaze.

He’s slender, dark and cute, but possibly dangerous. He moves like a shark.

He maneuvers closer slowly, undulating slightly, inviting me to make the first move. I tentatively extend my hand.

His eyes glint with intent, gaze riveted on my cleavage.  I’m not sure how I feel about this brazen interest.

I float closer, and he moves in. There’s no mistaking what he wants.

In one swift move, he is against me. He nibbles my shoulder. This is going too far.

I push him firmly, but he presses in again quickly, determined to have his way.

I back away more quickly than before, and for a moment he looks confused, then zeroes in again on my décolletage.

I’ve got to get out of here.

As I flee, Hubby shouts from the shore, “What’s wrong?”

I answer over the pounding surf, “This fish won’t leave me alone! He keeps trying to get in my suit!”

Hubby laughs, “Swim faster! I told you those cracker crumbs were going to stick to you. Next time you decide to dump the last of the box into your mouth, maybe you should aim better.”
